Hi Girls- My best friend just got engaged and is going to look at The Bourne Mansion. Any opinions, reviews,comments, and suggestions would be appreciated.
I went to visit there, Ben was very nice and accommodating.
The rooms were grand in scale, I especially loved the Sun Room and the Library. The grounds were massive, great picture opportunities. I've only heard the best about the food and service.
We didn't choose Bourne only because it was a drive away for a lot of our guests, and it may seem silly, but FI and I wanted a ballroom with carpeting and a danced floor, and the ballroom at the Mansion was all hard-wood floor. It was a matter of personal perference on that, but it is gorgeous inside. The bridal suite also has it's own little kitchenette.

I've heard wonderful things about The Bourne. I was considering having my wedding there, but I went to soccer camp there (back when it was La Salle) so that would be weird.
I had my reception there 3 weeks ago on 6/18. It was amazing, the staff was great and everyone raved about the food. I'm getting my proofs back this week, I will post some pics. I just got back from my much needed HM.
