I decided to take a walk over to the bridal building in nyc (1385 broadway) since my mom has been raving about it for months, it's where she got her dress yearsssss ago. I must say it's total waste of anyones time. There's only like 3 stores left and they're a total mess!!! Just a heads up if anyone was thinking of heading over there, don't waste your time.

OMG that place is a JOKE! I went there once with my MOH and my mother. We couldn't believe what a crock it was. It was sooo disorganized. In one of the stores, they had to put me behind some dress racks to try on the dress because they didn't have an actual dressing room. It's such a waste of time there. My MOH actually coined a phrase, 'That's SO bridal building' when she refers to anything sh!tty now.

Thats really ironic. I was about to post how I just went to H and S in the Bridal Building yesterday and had a fantastic experience. I agree that the 12th floor only has a couple of shabby places left but if you know you want a Sottero gown H and S was great. They gave us such a great price and the seamstress Anna was a riot.

Thanks for posting this...I was thinking about going into the city (which I hate doing) to check this place out...so this is really helpful-- I went to the Bridal Garden and that was a HUGE waste of time!!!
