has anyone purchased a dress at the bridal garden in manhattan. was wondering how the selection and service was. looked cool because they donate the money to charity.
I only have went to the Bridal Garden in Bethpage....for BM dresses when I was a BM....they were ok. I wasn't wild about them, their dresses, their staff or their prices!
I went to there to look. I was looking for a dropped waist ballgown and they didnt have a large selection of them but they did have a lot of A-lines. You can def get a very high end dress for a great price. Its worth a look.
I went there and they are not like a full service salon-more like you look in your size area and you try on what they have. I became a 2 dress bride because I put a deposit on a dress and they would not return my deposit-so just be sure that it is what you really want. I bought a Rahmanian dress from there and it was 2000 and it retailed through the designer for over 6000-silk satin with french bustle ball gown. The charity thing is really great though-you don't feel as guilty about buying the dress-but what you see is what you get-a broken zipper, a spot that needs rebeading-you are buying as is. A good seamstress can usually fix whatever it is.
