The Bridal Suite

Has anyone ever had any bad experiences at Bridal Suite in Centereach? or really great ones?

I posted a few months ago about my frustration with that shop. I went in to look at gowns for myself and there was maybe 2 other people in the place but the 3 ladies working were huddled around a magazine and I had to interrupt them to ask for help. The girl was absolutely no help to me whatsoever. I tried on one Maggie Sottero gown which laced up the back. When I came out of the dressing room she said 'I'm not going to lace this up otherwise we'll be here all night!' She didn't even clip it shut, she held it closed with her hand. There's nothing like trying to see how a dress looks with someones hand attached to the back! She didn't offer to show me another dress or to fill a card out for me.....nothing!

This was MY experience and I will not be patronizing them. I have read other postive reviews on them though.

Went there also to look for gowns...
The girl (she couldn't be over 20) that helped me was nice but didn't know what she was talking about as far as dresses..
I'm a heavy woman and she was picking ones out that were not for my shape at all.
It was busy in there and not very spacious.
I have heard great things about them and I was hoping that I'd be one of the great ones, but unfortunately I wasn't.
That is just my opinion and personal experience...

I did not use them for my dress, however I went w/my friend who was getting married. It was a couple of years ago, they were okay, but we also felt that they didnt really know what they were talking about either. However, I went to the one in Patchogue to look for dresses for myself and they were extremely helpful and very nice to me.

I was there today to check out my dress with my shoes, veil etc

I got my dress with Jackie who was WONDERFUL and helpful... she helped me try on SO many gowns.

Beverly helped me with my BM's dresses and my moms dress today.

I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with them.

I am ordering my gown from them and so far have had nothing but wonderful expierences with them.
AMY is absouletly the best! She remembers my name everytime I come in with out an appointmnet to show off my gown to friends and family.
She is very helpful and nice.
I totally reccomend the place!

I orderd with Amy also. Im a plus size gal and she mde me feel VERY comfortable. She was wonderful. I have also gone in several times without an appointment to show off my dress. She is great.

They have been unbelievably accomodating for me. Jackie is so freakin sweet and helpful. My MOH is plus size and initially couldn't try on any dresses. We were there for almost 2 hours, then decided to break for dinner and come back to go through every dress on the racks. When we came back, they had searched through the basement for plus size dresses that people had never bought and had about 10 for her to try on! To me, that's service! Going for my first fitting tomorrow!

i got my dress there and so did my mom and my 2 sisters!!! i have known them for a very long time you can say!they are sooo nice to me they remember me everytime and when i started to cry because i made them order the smaller size (i was only .5 over the size) they made me feel so much better and told me it was going to be fine! i am going on monday for my second fitting and i can't wait!

I ordered my dress on Nov 8th, they said it would take 5-7 months and its in already. I haven't seen it yet. I guess we didn't need that much help. I already had my dress picked out, they just had to find it. I also ordered the BM's dresses there. Again, we looked around ourselves for the most part. I liked them. I really seached past posts about dress shops to make sure I went to the right one. There are so many horror stories out there. I also know 2 brides who got their dresses there and didn't have any problems.

I ordered from amy also. She was sooo nice. The seamstress was also really nice. she wanted to make sure that i felt comfortable and that everything was the way i wanted it. I'm picking up my dress on thursday! I'm so excited!!!!

i ordered my dress from them and my fitting is on tues. my sister got her dress there a couple of years ago. no problems as of yet

I ordered my gown from the Patchogue Bridal Suite. We will be ordering the BM gowns from the Centereach Bridal Suite. They have been very nice to us. Try to go during the week, Saturdays are way to busy (made that mistake once) there are to many distractions. Weekday's are much more quiet.
