Never heard of her. Is there a website?

No, not a 'real' site just an advertisment on here. She works on movies & her prices are pretty good.
I need to find some one soon!! 100 days to go!

Where do you live? I've heard good things about Christie and Co. in Bay Terrace in Bayside. But I don't think they come to you, you have to go to them.

I think that if you look back about a year, people were raving about her. I even sent her an email right when I got engaged to know her fees, plus it is funny that both of us have the same name ... but then I heard about Jennifer of Fairytales and I went for her.
good luck!

Beware!!! I just run some search to give you the dates ... and I found that after so much raving, therewere very bad comments from other brides! If they are talking about the same person ... that is not good!
OF COURSE!!! I knew this was not going to be easy!!!! She did say something about making sure I was photogenic so she can apply the right amount of make-up!! I now picture me looking like Tammy Faye Baker!!!!!!!!

sorry for worrying you but I found those comments and I thought that it would be good to let you know just in case.
When is your trial?
good luck!

Tracy, I did not use Elena, but I know that there was a lot of negative feedback about her early last year...enough to make several brides cancel their contracts with her, and find someone else. Just FYI.
However, if she's not expensive, you could just go for a trial and see how she does. You don't have to take everyone's opinion...different strokes for different folks. Good luck!

I am going to Pauline the Bridal Assistant on Monday. She is the same price, but only $45 for the trial... I will let you know how it works out!

I am not using her, but I did go to her for a trial. I was happy with my hair and makeup at my trial. The reason I'm not using her is b/c of convenience. She is only one person and I need someone to do hair and makeup for 5 people. We're going to Maximus instead b/c a salon is just much more convenient for us. Go for your trial and see what you think.

Re: The Bridal Touch by Elena
Call Jaqueline Nicole. you will not be sorry.
I had Elena do a trial for me and felt a bit too made-up afterwards, even though many people commented on how nice I looked. Then there were some negative comments and that made me nervous so I went to a few more people. JN made me beautiful and not made up. But of course that is only my experience. Elena was very nice and did listen to what I wanted in terms of color etc... You can try and then decide for yourself.
