Every wedding I've been to it seems that the Bride sits to the right of the groom. So facing the dais, the left side of the room is the bride's guests and the right side is the grooms. But I'm sure that's not set in stone lol. I'll probably do it this way because of the bar situation, and my side are not big drinkers, so I'll put FH's side by the bar.
If you're in a church... and I'm assuming in another setting too, the bride's family sits on the left side and groom's family sits on the right (if you're facing forward toward the altar). The bride sits to the left of the groom as well. (This is the way I've always seen it)
