Think it will be crowded this weekend, Monday in particular b/c its a holiday weekend?

Yes, I'd definitely stay away on weekends & on Wednesdays (if they still do the free kids day).

I think it will probably be VERY crowded

I want to get the annual pass tot eh aquarium and the zoo, and when FH takes a week off in June for our anniversary/his birthday we're going to go!

Crowded yes but the place is so big, people spread out and its not so bad. You want to go when its cooler out too so the animals are more active.

I would think it would be, cause it's always crowded any weekend, and the butterfly exibit opened the 19th, so that's new there too.

I am sure it will be busy. I saw the butterfly exhibit the last time it was at the Bronx Zoo. It was beautiful. Here's a picture.
