The cake 'card' box

I really wanted to make my own..but not finding any help on the boards....any advice?

hat boxes? Paint them white and decorate them? Otherwise I know walmart had 3 heart shaped boxes that got bigger in size from top to bottom- cut a slot in the top and play around?
