The Carltun
Re: The Carltun
What do you want to know?
Re: The Carltun
All I know is that a friend of mine looked there for her wedding and was absolutely in LOVE with the place! Good Luck!
Re: The Carltun
I'm not sure what info you're looking for, but the Carltun is a great space. There's capacity for indoor/outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour but wouldn't be sad if whole thing was inside--unlike some other places I saw. It's elegant like Woodlands, but more of a 'modern elegance.' The bar area for cocktail hour looked very classy and each captain's station was separated and guests were served rather than it being buffet-style. Valets are extra ($125 per valet per 40 guests). They had too high of a minimum for a Saturday night, otherwise, would be a great venue. The minimum for Sat night (185) Fri (150) sat/sun day (125). If you have a wedding during the day, you have to be out by 5pm. Price goes down to $135 if you have a day wedding on Saturday or Sunday. For a Friday or Sunday night wedding in June or July, the price was $160pp; Saturday was $210pp. Weddings on Friday can start anytime. FH expressed concern that all floors were hardwood--sounds would carry so conversations might overpower music or vice versa. My concern was that all of the pictures I've seen from there are taken either in front of the fountain or on the back verranda--there's not too much variety and I'm not sure if that's because of the photographer or the space itself. Hope this helps!
Re: The Carltun
awesome venue. Very expensive but probably really worth it. Food is awesome and the grounds are incredible. In my opinion, it's nicer than Oheka and probably the best venue on LI
Re: The Carltun
I'm having my reception there if you want to ask me any questions. I'm going to make a payment next week so I can find anything out for you if I don't know.
