The Carltun or Harrison House?

I am trying to decide between the Carltun or the Harrison House. I prefer the rooms at he Carltun but the Harrison House has the pub and accomodations on site. Plus the Carltun is a bit more money. Does anyone have any comments on either?

First, 1-800-Flowers has just been an absolute disappointment nearly everytime we've ordered from them. The first time, the flowers were great, but the several times after that, the flowers have been awful. My fiance would send me roses for various reasons, birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, etc. and the roses never made it more than a few days. Of course, some would hold out longer than others. Once, I took them up on their satisfaction guarantee, which states something like '7 day freshness.' Well, at the end of the seven days, I called and told them the flowers didn't make it seven days, that some started dying the very next day. They told me I was supposed to call before the end of the seventh day!! We finally stopped ordering from them since they couldn't send roses that would carry out the week. I'm sorry, but spending $80 and not getting the week is a HUGE deal to me.

I am having about 125 - 150 guests. We are having it next Feb. or March. We have alot of guests coming from England so there will definitely be alot of overnight guests. I'm going to look at both setup and try to decide.
Well she got engaged a couple of weeks ago, and they are planning a very short engagement, in fact she is getting married before me. Well I called her last week and asked her if she would come with me to the bridal shop, because I wanted to put a deposit on the dress. She kept telling me that the dress didn't do anything for me and for about 20 minutes she tried to convince me that I shouldn't make this decision without trying on a couple of other styles. Her opinion is very important to me, and we have been friends since sixth grade, but I told her that I always loved the dress but it was a money issue and I was embarressed to let her know that. Anyway to make a long story short, I found out she went to the same bridal shop with her MOH (which is her sister) the day after she got engaged and bought my dress! Can you believe the nerve. I am so upset. She knew I wanted it, and even told me the dress wasn't even pretty, and she ordered it for herself. The worst part is that most of the people at her wedding, which is before mine, will be at mine. I haven't confronted her yet, but I'm hoping you girls will help me out. I am past the tears, now I am just angry. She hasn't returned any of my messages, so I assume she knows I know. I just don't know where this leaves her, me, and my dress!
