The Carriage House in Babylon

Has anyone eaten there or have any feedback? I'm thinking of having my Rehearsal dinner there....

yes,,great place but it gets very busy so try not to have it on a Friday night..

If you do it on a Friday or Saturday night, they will only do a buffet.

I have been there for dinner and I have been there for a baby shower.

Dinner was awesome - service, food, everything.

Baby Shower - everything was good, my only thing was the room that they had it in. It was upstairs, and the room is set up almost like a L shape. With the amount of tables they had - it was tight. I guess it would depend on the amount of people that you had.

The food and service is really good, but I agree that the room you have it in there is awkward.

If you're looking for something similar (food, ambiance, service) and close to Babylon, check out the Bridge Restaurant, we're having our rehearsal there and they have a really nice private room upstairs with a bar. We just had my FSIL's baby shower there and it was fantastic.

It's in West Islip on Montauk Highway...less than 10 mins from the Carriage House.

great place...we had e-party before it got big (we had it within the first 2 months of it opening)

im not sure what your talking about with the room. its a tad small but held 40 ppl just fine. buffet was good (the 1 or 2 bites i had - too busy hosting)

you will have a good time there

I can't have a sit-down on a Friday night?? hmmm, that might change things.

they are not staffed for parties...they are boom with ppl every night..its always packed.

if you have your dinner earlier, i think you can. We had the option (we didnt have the money for sit down served dinner) but we still started at 6. If it started later, i don't think they will.

call and checked. also, parking is difficult ... so if you were to have it, plan for ppl to get their early
