The Cottage at East Wind

I went to The Cottage at the East Wind this past weekend for a tour. FH is excited about all inclusive (he's the money worry-er in this relationship, lol). I, however, have some concerns about the reception area. It's a little dated, and I just can't picture how it will look all done up at night (our appt was 10am).

Can anyone share pics or attest to how this venue looks at night? The woman who showed us around said that there are a lot of pictures on Facebook, and there are, just NONE of The Cottage's reception area all done up at night.

Any help is appreciated! I'm new to the site and am hoping for some help!!

I am an East Wind bride and I am getting married in the estate! I think they do all inclusive int he inn as well now. Maybe you would like that decor more? The cottage is beautiful as well I love the two areas for cocktail/reception and they have been great to work with. I would google East Wind and try http://lighthousephotographyblog.com/?page_id=20
it's his east wind blog. I would also go back at night or ask if you can go when a wedding is all set up. HTH!

Thank you so much for the suggestion. The lighthouse photography blog is amazing. I'm in love with their work. But, still NO pics of the inside of the cottage. lol.

I'm an EW bride also but I was too big for the Cottage. I love the outside grounds. I'm sure if you dress up the main building with candles and maybe a little uplighting it will look beautiful! See if you can set up an appointment to see it at night to get a better idea.

I think I'm going to see if I can go back at night. I am in love with the outside grounds, and the cottage's cocktail hour space is lovely.

i am to a east wind bride but im inside in the south hampton ballroom. Were getting married outside but have to many guests for the Cottage. i have heard from a lawyer friend of mine that her wedding in the cottage was amazing ...hope that helps make ya feel better?? lol
