I went to the website and it looks very pretty. If anybody has called to get a quote pp please tell me what they told you. they told me for 100 guest im having and on a holiday its $100. That is too much. Anyone know something nice like that place and CHEAPER. Does these people think we are made out of money. Man i feel like having it in a backyard. I'm STRESSED. I'm giving up. everytime i find a place i like...its too much. My FH and i love the outdoor wedding theme. specially a beach that is why we thought this place would be nice. and both families are hispanic so we can party. it won't be boring. Any advise please, im loosing it.

Re: THE CRESCENT BEACH CLUB?
As far as the Crescent is concerned, you won't get them under $100 pp - - I'm actually surprised you got a quote that low.
As for other beachy options, I think they're out there at a more reasonable price tag - so don't give up.
Hang in there!

Re: THE CRESCENT BEACH CLUB?
Check out The Riviera....it's not on the beach but it's on the water (It's in Massapequa on the south shore). A wedding for 100 people would be perfect there, and you could get married outside there.
ETA: Also, the Thatched Cottage is out the water, and has a beautiful outdoor ceremony area.

Re: THE CRESCENT BEACH CLUB?
i feel the same way as you, the crescent gave me a quote of $140pp...so 100 sounds good! i am going next week to look at harbor club, the pavillion at sunken meadow(which i hear might be a waste of my time), chateau la mer, and w. sayville country club...i realllly want to get married ON the beach, but it seems as though its just not going to happen. lands end looks nice too, but its over $100 too for june weddings at least.

Re: THE CRESCENT BEACH CLUB?
The nasty woman I talked to gave me a quote of $140+ for a May afternoon and was kind enough to tell me that even though I probably couldnt afford it I was still welcome to make an appointment to look around

That's just wrong. I would have been steaming.
These prices seem fairly okay (not for my budget) but when my bro got married in 2001, a Sat. night wedding was 175. pp & I think Sat. afternoon was 140. The place is beautiful

Re: THE CRESCENT BEACH CLUB?
I loved the idea of a beach themed wedding and the place does look beautiful. I just couldnt but up with ignorant people like that. I've never heard complaints about them here either that's why I called.

Re: THE CRESCENT BEACH CLUB?
I am biased on The Riviera :)
I loved the place and we are having a small wedding 100people and we have a great price. We wanted simple and on the water and we found it at the Riviera. Good Luck!!!
