The Crescent Beach Club

The Crescent Beach Club

I'm having my wedding at the Crescent Beach Club... I knew I wanted my wedding there before I even knew my fiance! Is anyone else having (or did anyone else have) their wedding there? I've seen stories about other places not letting brides have the cake they want... do you know if they are flexible with what kind of cake? Mine's pretty simple... white tiers, real red roses and our monogram on the cake. I'm hoping they'll let me get that. Also, how long do you need for pictures on the beach at sunset? Sunset on my wedding day will be at 4:40pm... I was planning on starting my cocktail hour at 4:30 (my ceremony at St. Edward's is at 1 and we're doing Planting Fields in between). Does anyone think I should move my cocktail hour to 5? It's a Sunday night, so I wanted the reception to begin kind of early and incorporate the sunset. Hmmmmm.... Also, who was your maitre d'? Were you happy with them? Did anyone have a signature drink at their CBC wedding? I want to, but I don't know if they do that. Also... band or DJ. I was going to do a band... but then I bought a house, and DJ it is! Plus, I hear only good things about the DJ... they're 'Then 'Til Now'. What is everyone else doing?

Hi! I'm having my wedding there too and as far as i know they are pretty flexible on cakes. I remember I had a lot of ?'s about the cakes when I was booking and they showed us their cake book and there were so many different ones.... Pictures at sunset shouldn't take too long. We are having our reception from 1 - 5, and since sunset will be around 4:50 that day, we're just gonna leave the reception a little early and stay later there and do some shots on the beach, but I couldn't imagine those pictures taking that long, but it depends on how big your bridal party is and stuff. I went with DJ there, but I went with High Voltage Sounds, i didn't use any of the house vendors, too expensive for me Good luck!

The Crescent has a lot of options for cake and I'm sure they're willing to accommodate you if you don't like their choices. When we chose our menu, I brought in a pic of a cake I liked and they matched the design of the pic. We chose vanilla cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry filling. It was sooo good. We worked with Denise the entire time, and Kathy was in charge on the day of the wedding. My bridal attendant was Campbell. All of them were fabulous. You have nothing to worry about with the Crescent. They are extremely professional and treat you like a princess on your day. Good luck.
