I belong to another board where people post little rants and raves about things (wedding or not wedding related) that don't really need their own thread. I'm wondering if that might be a good idea for this board.
My daily whine: It would seem bad breath is running rampant in my office today. I've had conversations with 3 very 'Close-talkers' who hasd the absolute worth breath. And they won't leave me alone. it almost makes me gag.
Yikes people!

Yuck! My daily whine?
There's this chick that works here and she's always asking me for approval on her outfits. It's annoying. It's as if she wants me to keep telling her how great she looks. I hate people that need compliments all the time so that their egos are inflated.

Re: The Daily Whine
Have you seen the commercial with the guy in the office who keeps the giant gum thing on his desk for the stinky breath guy in his cubicle? Maybe you need that!! hahaha
my rant:
We had a storm yesterday, and so no phones or computers at my office since yesterday afternoon (oh, and no AC). So, I get to work from home (yay) but am getting (as you can tell . . . .) nothing done!!! Now that I own the place, billables are MUCH more important to me, and I'm costing myself money!!!

Re: The Daily Whine
My teaching assistant shows up late EVERY day. Not even close to on time - he's supposed to be here at 9 and he waltzes in around 10:30! Then he spends half his day flirting with the substitute teachers in the building! Grrrrr!
Thank goodness theres only 2 more weeks!

Ugh, I used to have one of those types of bosses. I had to leave my job because of him because he was the worst person ever. He never admitted when he was wrong...what a douche.

if you use the schools phone number, they can take the call for your cooperating teacher. i've done this and ive been told that its actually more professional than giving them the teachers direct number.

Re: The Daily Whine
my rant -- people who try to suck up to me by complimenting my clothes repeatedly at work and then doing an average job at work thinking I won't notice because my ego is inflated I am wearing a new dress today and the same person has complimented me three times already today!
