The day from hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So last night everything came to a head with FMIL, I found out from a third party just how much she can't stand me, I was a spoiled brat whose parents never let me know what it's like to struggle, I was a controlling b!t*h who is forcing FH to marry me, I treat FH like $h!t and I monopolize his time and keep him from her. I come from money according to her, and it's nice to back up my 'lifestyle' with money meanwhile people like her who never have anything have to struggle, I was so livid, I called FH told him I was at the end of my rope and this had to be solved, I was done. I was told by FH that it was a lie, but I knew it wasn't, he called her today, told her what happened, she called me (while I was at the retinal surgeon with my grandfather-he's got macular degeneration and is not faring too well) 6 times in 20 minutes, leaving voicemails asking 'who would do this to us? if it's someone in your BP you should talk to them' It was a total outsider and I didn't want to betray a confidence, besides, if you weren't scared out of your mind from being caught, and guilty as sin, why call so many times. I FINALLY talk to her for an hour and let it all out, about how I'm never welcome in her home, she never acknowledges my birthday, all of this stuff, and she puts on a big show of how much she loves me and all this and that. I'm done with it all, I'm not bringing it up again, I know she'll be on her best behavior now because she knows I know, and that's fine, let her be phony for a while, I could use a little butt kissing!!!!! I'm so stressed out with her though, she can't ever keep her mouth shut and she convinces FH that shes never wrong.......I wanna move FAR, FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow Jenna, I'm so, so sorry that you have to deal with that. I don't even know what to say, that's absolutely shocking.

first of all, FMIL, you and jenna are not dating, so stop asking 'who would do this to us'.

second of all, FMIL, if you are going to accuse someone in the BP of being the source, why not look a little closer to home instead of accusing the MOH who has been nothing but gracious to you and your family for the entire 11 years your son and jenna have been together.

by the way, that MOH is me.

believe it or not, my FMIL is the same! i've been with my FH for almost 12 yrs now.. she really hasnt changed. and later on it'll be tug of war! just thinking about that stresses me out... because of this, i'm pretty stressed about the wedding. bcs the way she treated and treats me, my family really doesnt like FH's parents..

but, dont let it get u too crazy!! thats the goal. the crazier and more upset u get, the more the other party will be happy. so stay cool and calm ;) if u do, that'll show the people around you and ur FH of how much of a bigger person you are! HTH. and GL!
