The den has a fire place on one wall and the other wall is brick ( they painted it ivory so i have to paint it )
I dont know what color to paint this room, have beech color furniture (end tables , book shelves, coffee table, and i want to get dark blue and or dark green couches and chairs (because of the dogs)
What colors for the walls? Should I do the walls green and blue or something else?
As you can tell im not the best interior decorator.

why not brighten up the room with a warm yellow?

I think white walls look good with beech furniture. If you are going to have a blue couch, i wouldnt paint the walls blue. I would want a contrast.

Too bad they painted the brick, I love the call of brick. Enzo is going to love your Den.

Re: The Den colors
Is there any way to take the paint out off the brick? Stupid question but I don't know. Or is the brick ruined after it is painted.

Re: The Den colors
Basically there are a few options, like sand blasting, but we dont want to do this inside the house, then there is that tacky paper stuff but the wall is 25 feet long, it would take FOREVER and im not sure it works great, basically what i have been told is dont even try..
