So I asked FH to go on BB&B website to pick a few items to register for before our e-party next month, since we have family and friends that will be attending who have asked. I picked out a few things--- some cute glassware, a serving tray, a cute (albeit useless) little picnic set--- about 6 items ranging in price from 20 to 40 dollars. I figured this was a reasonable price range for registry gifts for an engagement party. Right? Well... FH just sent me his very SHORT list.....
He picked a 600 dollar knife set!
Yes, darling, someone's gonna give us a 600 dollar knife set for our engagement!!!!
Actually, I would be MAD if someone gave us a 600 dollar knife set!!!! That 600 dollars could buy 5 of each of everything I picked on the registry!!
Anyone else have a moment like this with their FH????

My FH is insistent on putting a nice Weber grill on our registry, however we dont have a house with a patio or anywhere to store it.

My FH is the same way with knives!!! Except the ones he wants are about $100 each!!!!! I wouldn't register for them so he convinced his cousin (also his best man) to get them for us for our engagement party!! They are sooo sharp I am afraid to use them!!!

He wants a roomba and I was like lets just put that on the registry. Then I was like lets put the cheapest one and he said to put all of them so we can have one in each room. He was joking of course.

FH is pretty clueless about that stuff too. The only thing he knows he wants to register for is the Margaritaville Margarita maker, and that's like $300. Maybe some people will split it for us to make him happy. I wouldn't mind it myself, we would certainly use it!

I've been thinking a lot about our registery lately since our e-party invites are going out soon and I'm sure people are going to start asking where we're registered.
I told my FH that I was having a brain overload with all the options on the BB&B website and his response? 'just point and click'
