We used sticky vellum paper. Then on the ones we didn't get to perfectly stay we put vellum tape over. You can get the Vellum Sticky paper at Michaels. We just ran it through the computer.

Is it the one where you peel the backing, or the one that comes like a regular dispenser - both sides sticky?

you can get scotch invisible tape, and put it on the outside seam also... you wont even notice the tape because it is so similar to the vellum!!

also... use a scissor to cut the tape into the strips before you place it on the votive holder, that way it lays smooth, and doesnt have that ridgy edge from the dispenser's cutter... hope that makes sense!

I tried this today and the same thing happened. Did you try any of the suggestions? did anything work?

Rubber cement may be the better option. the heat is making it come off. I don't think it will do that with the rubber cement or tacky glue
