The Dr has pulled me out of work for 3 weeks

Since i got PG i have had a constant cold.. I went to the Dr on thursday and he told me because My blood prussure was borderline all 3 times that i hace gone to him i now have to stay out of work and go see a Peri Natel specialist.. but because if the holidays the first Appt i could get was Jan 6th...
Besides that I have to pee in that Giant orange container for 24 hours... I am only 13.5 weeks preggo.. is this normal.. i amgoing to go out of my mind.. and my DH won't even let me put a dish in the dishwasher....he is going to make me nuts

I think the drs are overly cautious these days.

Try to look at it as a vacation from EVERYTHING and enjoy being waited on.

I dont understand, is it b/c you have the constant cold and they dont want you to take anything for it b/c your pregnant? Do you feel okay now?

I hope nothing is really wrong. Why are you peeing in a container. Are they checking your urine for protein? It seems early for that. Emjoy the time you have to take it easy.

Your Dr. is probably being cautious - which is a good thing! I know bedrest is a real drag - but try to make the best of it! You can hang out all day and talk with us!

Thanks everyone... He is beinbg cautious.. he is checking for protein already... I think he is baffled about my Blood pressure... i do not have any of the symptoms that are realted to it.. and the fact that i feel like I am coughing up my lungs everytime i cough does not help... But i am going to try and enjoy the time....

yes - just relax. they'll put you back in work and you'll be longing for this time when you could put your feet up and relax! I did the pee in the jug thing. It is really glamorous....
