the drama begins...

we sent out our invites on friday. my uncle calls my mom last night to say my cousin's girlfriend can't make the wedding, but his younger brother (who wasn't invited with a guest, bc he isn't dating anyone) would like to bring a friend instead.

there have been plenty of times i was invited without a guest, i never asked if i could bring someone.

this is exactly what we wanted to avoid - ppl bringing random 'friends' to the wedding.

i have to call my uncle tonight to talk to him

what should i do?

Tell him u cant invite more ppl now..
U want to keep the celebration intimate with ppl u know...

I would say at this point you need to get some nos before you can add more people. Just because the girlfriend can't come, doesn't mean they can replace her. You need some nos, you know?

thats annoying..im sorry you have to go through this but you should just say that you guys dont want just anybody and lie say you cut your list down of people you wanted to invite and you would rather have them then someone whose just his son's friend
