the drama is done ... for now

FH and I have been engaged about 5 months and have had A LOT of drama in this timeframe (family annoyances, BS with the engagement ring, etc)

it's really taken a toll on us and i was getting very nervous to marry him as a result.

well, the drama is now officially over (only temporarily, i'm sure) and i feel like we're finally getting back to being our normal, happy selves

i'm still nervous about getting married (i recently realized that 'm kind of marriage-phobic) ... but i'm not afraid that i'm marrying FH anymore

just thought i'd share in case anyone else is feeling super-scared .... it's just the stress ... once things settle down, it'll all be back to normal

Yea!!

I have to tell FH and I went through this too. We had a lot of drama from family primarily on my side. It took a big toll on us for a while until we were able to just talk about it.

i agree but i think it's important for people to know that they're not alone (which is why i told my story).

there was a post last week, i think, asking if anyone was actually nervous about the wedding and most people said they were not nervous. This made me extra-nervous because i was scared sh!tless at that point.

so this thread is for all the girls who are uncertain about their futures ... if you had a wonderful relationship pre-engagement, and you're not happy now, then it's just stress
