Hi...I was just reading in another post about this dream...I had one not too long ago and really didn't think anything about it...until I just read the posting and it mentioned this.
One person said it means that someone is pregnant...but, I saw 2 other girls say it means something different (and mentioned it may be a Latin thing).
I hate being superstitious...but, can someone tell me what the other meaning might be.

I used to have this as a recurring dream and did some research on it and never saw anything about it meaning someone was pregnant, but who knows?
I found it means anything from fear of losing friends (or losing money, losing something) and that you have some sort of life-threatening illness. I don't believe that one at all.

Oh no...that doesn't sound good...see...this is why I hate all of these superstitions...they make me nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've read that having dreams about teeth falling out could be insecurity issues. The other day I had a dream that I had one Big Buck Tooth and the rest of my teeth were Gone! So of Course analyzing it, I recently got a hair cut.......a BAD hair cut at that and I have been stressing about it. It looks horrible.

I read in a dream thingy book that teeth are representative of Independence. Nourishment and communication.

Hmm...well, I really didn't want to say it in the other post but everything I've heard about dreams of teeth falling out means there will be a death in the family.

I had the dream so many times and was shocked the first time I hear other people have that dream to. I was told it is an insecurity/nerves thing- similar to the dream of going to school in your pajamas.

I was also told by a psychologist that your teeth represent your defenses. So the falling out may mean you had an argument or situation where you didn't defend yourself perhaps as strongly as you would have liked to, and feel somewhat defenseless. In my case, this happened to be so true because these dreams always happened when I was with my ex-husband (Spanish) who happened to pull a lot of crap and I often put up with it, God knows why.
But now, dreaming about losing my teeth during pregnancy...must have some other meaning.
I don't buy it about someone dying because I am not superstitious, and I haven't known that many people who have died, in or out of my family!!

Ditto. My mom HATES dreaming about teeth falling out, because it means death in her eyes. She dreamt about that 2 weeks before her dad passed away from a heart-attack.
I think my mom's a bruja after that one... )

I personally don't believe dreams mean anything is GOING to happen. I think they are more rehashing of events and fears and wishes. Guess that's my psych schooling. But I really don't think they predict things.

The feelings you have in your dreams are typically feelings you are trying to work out in your subconscious....that's my belief anyway. So, I don't pay attention too much to what objects or people play the roles in my dreams...more to how they make me feel. They are fun to analyze though.
FWIW, I have probably had the tooth-falling-out dream 100 times during my life...it has definitely never signaled anything like an illness or a death(!)
