The Dress

The Dress

Hi Girls,

I posted something similar on brides helping brides. I have been dressing hutnting for 2 months and have gone to several salons. I have found only one dress I love its by Jessica Zamir(if you google her you will see her name and under coming soon you can see the back of the dress) The issue is its silk charmeuse and I have 34 DD breasts. Designer loft says a bra or inserts wont work and I will need duct tape. Anyone with any experience with this?. I really love it but am scared to drop so much money on this dress without knowing it has some support.

Re: The Dress

I think you can probably put on these petal things (ask in Bloomies) and then use sports type of tape under the breast to give it lift. Maybe this is what they mean.

However...
can't they sew a bra right into the dress? Lots of girls have this done. Then of course it wouldn't show.

Or...
I know you love the dress, but if you are falling out of it it might really just not be the right dress for you. You have to consider your body type when buying this. If you are taped into your dress on your wedding day and you are uncomfortable, you are going to be unhappy and it will definitely translate to pictures. I would never consider getting something without boning or where I could wear a bra, even though I think the styles are great.

Re: The Dress

from the looks of it, the dress doesn't have much of a back...so support will be very little if there is any with it having only a front side and no backside...i'm sorry i have no solution for you

but if you loved the dress that much and it looks great on you and taping was the only solution...i'd go for it

Re: The Dress

They say a bra sewn in would show. I am not falling out of it . Rather it looks like my breasts have no support a problem they think they can fix with duct tape. I just wondered if anyone else had used this technique under clothing. Thanks

Oh no!

I can't say that I have experience with D cups...

I've taped my breasts for pageant purposes... to give them support as in.. more cleavage. It worked! It's a pain to get off... literally... but it worked.

I don't know how it would do supporting large breasts though.

Maybe try it out?

I don't know if this helps... I'm sorry if it doesn't.

I'm sure you can be taped...I mean come on Hollywood does it all the time. People on the red carpet wear these kind of dresses all the time and they are taped in them....
