THE dress

So Ive been to i think every major store on LI and while ive liked a few dresses, none have felt like 'the dress'

Did you all get that feeling or should i go with one of the ones i have seen thus far...

Im freaking out.... 8 months out and no dress

I did get the feeling. Your dress is out there. Keep looking!!! I loved the dress but kept looking. I went back and just bought it. Trust me you will know. Just keep going to diff places.

Problem is, I found what I want online but no one has it anymore, apparently it came out fall 07

same was with my dress. definitely got that feeling of 'the one'. keep looking! it's out there.

The 8th dress I tried on I felt was the one. Of course once I put the downpayment on I was scared. I am still scared now but when I go to the store to just peak at it I know. You will have the feeling when it is right and DO NOT SETTLE!!!

I never got THAT feeling...I put on my dress at the first salon I went to and, while I did like it, there was no 'THIS IS IT' feeling.

The next salon I went to had that dress, but I tried on 10-12 dresses before putting it on again. I still didn't get the 'THIS IS IT' feeling but I did know that I liked my dress WAY more than I liked anything else I had tried on, so that's the one I went with. There was no crying or squealing or getting really excited, but I did get sad when I had to take it off so I guess that says something.

I was shocked, I'm a really emotional person, but it just didn't happen for me. I'm really happy with my choice though, I know its the right dress for me. HTH!

I didn't think i would have that esepecially because every dress i tried on I could see myself wearing the day of.

When I tried on that dress I knew it was it - believe me you will know and you can't settle

Unfortunately for me I got 'that feeling' with 2 dresses. So I lost sleep Sunday night trying to decide between the two. But I just keep thinking about one so much more than the other. That's how I made my decision.

Well its worse when u find THE dress and its wayyy out of the price range u want to spend for 1 day. In my case..I did find another dress that I like but dont LOVE. (I probably would have loved it if i didn't see the other one first.) WHAT SHOULD I DO>??! Buy the one that costs wayyy too much that I love, or buy one that i like for way less?!

Is that your real wedding date? If so you have PLENTY of time to find a dress.

But to answer your question, yes I did that that feeling but I also got that feeling with several other dresses (I guess my dress brought it out the most). But there was no crying or squealing with me either..LOL.

My dress (in my album) suited me very well and was what I was looking for. It didnt make me cry or anything. I fell in love with it and pictured myself getting married in it...

i got the feeling when i tried my dress on. i liked other prior to putting it on but i knew 'the one' right away.

I first tried on a Moinique Luhllier (spelling?) gown. I really liked it, and it was my top choice. Then I tried on about 8 more, nothing. I then put on, what I believe to be, THE gown. I had such a feeling in it, however, as it is still early, I will keep looking through the summer, but I have a pretty intuituve feeling that I have already found the one.
