The dress - maybe there was another one out there?
I love my dress still, I found it really was about who I am and what the wedding was about. BUT today I was looking at dress with my friend who is getting engaged and I found one that my mouth just dropped.
I have to say if shown this or if I had seen this all most two years ago this might of been the dress. Anyway figured its sunday, nippy out and people are home so make this into a fun thing. FIND A DRESS that you can honestly say might of been the one if you didn't pick your dress and post it here.
This is the dress I really think is just WOW for me. I probably would of deff. done a cage veil or small cap hat with a broch and feather with some netting on it.

That is a stunning, STUNNING dress!!!
I'm still wrapped up in the love I have for my dress (and I'm kinda lazy), but right now, there's no other dress I would pick... check back in about 6 months

Not sure if I'd change my dress choice but I would NEVER go with a corset back again. SO uncomfortable.

I saw this in a magazine one day and i couldn't stop looking at it. i LOVE it. If i was having more of a summer, beachy, day time wedding, the WOULD have been my dress.

well, i don;t know that i have seen one that i have said, i should have gotten that one... but i do know that i wish i looked at maggie sottoro dresses -- i thought they were more expensive than they are and I never bothered ... and i also looooove paloma blanca's style, but never even considered them, because again, i assumed they were out of my price range. i found my dress and never went to another place - it was my first shopping trip and my last - and I really do love it, it's different and very unique.

that dress is pretty!! And although i do love my mermaid dress, I would like a fuller bottom,, maybe something to bustle, similar to this one....

Re: The dress - maybe there was another one out there?
well when i went dress shopping i had narrowed it down to 2 i loved and couldnt decide at first. So i'll post the dress i was deciding between my dress and this one. In the end though i do think my dress flattered me better, and loved my choice. This dress was AMAZING dont get me wrong, but just not on me, ive seen it on another bride, i think she was an 06 bride and looked stunning on her, but i think you have to be a bit taller bc of the way the sides are when you bustle it, looked weird on me, and the top i would've been out a bit much i think.
So my dress was my first choice and here was my 2nd choice. I even went back a week later bc i said i had to try both on again to make sure, when i went back the 2nd time is when i fell in love with my dress and didnt want this one anymore

This is Ironic
I was just watching some secret video footage of the Fall 2009 Bridal Fashion Shows from Friday, and WOW is all i can say, The new lines will be available for preview soon, but i wish i was getting married next year so i could have a gown from the Platinum or Kenneth Pool collection that just came out, even though the video is grainy the gowns are goreous

I was deciding between two dresses, both different. I still sometimes think....'What if I chose the wrong dress?'
Here is the dress I almost went with:

i think it all came down to how much $$$ i had to spend.... if there was NO LIMIT to how much i could have spent, i would have gotten a mermaid type dress... but i looked @ those & they were WAYYYY out of my budget

This had originally been my Dream Dress, but it didn't work out. By the time I got engaged, It was kind of a choice between the dress & the hall. I wouldn't have been able to afford both with the situation I was in.
But luckily I did find a dress that I adore. It's not a Maggie Sottero like I had been wanting, but it's still beautiful.
