the earliest time to start a friday church wedding
With adding an extra hour to my Friday night wedding and allowing my photog two hrs inbetween church and venue, what time should church start. Is 1am too late to end a wedding?

Not sure if you can go earlier than this but my brother's wedding was on a Friday and the mass started at 3 or 3:30.

each church will vary on when you can start... but a lot of the friday weddings i've been to, the ceremony was either at 3 or 4pm. and don't worry about when your reception will end, your close family and friends will be there no matter what

Didn't see the second part of the question... agree with previous post. Your close family and friends won't mind if it's that late. They will still be there partying it up with you to the very end.

my wedding was on a friday and ended at 1:30am!! I really didnt want it to be that late but i didnt have a choice. I was worried that people would leave early but a good amount stayed to the end. Also my church was at 5:00pm and the reception didnt start till 8:30pm. HTH

my church is at 4 on a friday in the summer... my CH starts at 6:30...
1 isnt terribly late considering its a friday... but i think its on the later side for most weddings

Nope, mines ending the same time. I would say 3 would be the earliest. It depends on the church.

we're having our friday wedding start at 430 then ch starting at 730. but 3 should be fine too. reception isnt ending til about 1 as well.

I'd say 3 is the earliest, and I don't think 1AM is late at all! Ours is ending then and all our friends are so excited!
