honestly they deserve to loose...

They didnt play like their hearts were in the game.

They lost on their own turf. They lost by a shut out. They didnt have that strength and determination they had when going into the series.

Florida played well, they played like they wanted it more then anything in the world and I congrulate them on their win. They played hard and won. The Yankees just seemed like they didnt have the determination like they had when they were in the playoffs.

My fiance is having a fit! (thats why im here on the computer)
But, the above poster is right, they played like crap tonight!

FH and I just came back from watching at a friends house. FH didn't say a word the whole way home. I really thought he was going to freak out so far hes calm and REALLY upset.

I agree they did play like crap and really didn't put there all into it this time.

I am so sad that the Yankee's lost-- Thankfully though I didn't let Frankie bet this one so his hair will remain!

Today is a very difficult day for my uncle, who is a lifelong Yankee fan....I can't even call him b/c I'm sure he does not want to even think about it!

This is the 2nd straight World Series loss for the Yanks...they are still the highest paid team...so, they can still get the best players...but, they are not the same team they used to be. They definitely played earnestly, and it was so obvious last night the mutual respect between the teams...everything the coaches and players said.

I did feel a little *twinge* of saddness for Roger Clemens...his final season ended on a losing note...but, he had a fantastic career!

I also felt a little *twinge* of happiness for the Red Sox!
