you went to try on dresses, does everyone feel like they are going to find their dress that day? I do...I know its just cuz im excited but I really really hope I do!

lol!! I went once and I think I found 'the one' but I want to keep shopping because I had so much fun trying on the dresses - even the ones that I did not like!!! it was so much fun dress shopping - I can't wait to go again!!!!!

You'll know when it's 'The One' the first store i went to carried 'The One' but i checked out 2 other stores just to make sure :o)

i didnt think i would find the one. when i went i tried on about 10 dresses. i loved them online and mags. they all looked like crap on me. i was so pissed!!! the next to last dress i tried on i loved with all my heart. it made my moh/sister cry. you will have a great time you WILL find the one

I actually went to Kleinfelds on Sunday (for the sample sale) and honestly didn't expect to buy one. I just wanted to get a feel for the type of style I liked as Id never tried on a wedding dress before.
I tried on the very first dress and almost cried, I loved it soooo much. My best friend made me try on another 10 dresses just to make sure - but the image of the first dress never left my mind . . .and yep I bought it!!! Wedding is over 12 months away, but just couldn't help myself!!!
Im smiling like a fool just thinking about it
(although my fiance was a little shocked when I came home with an enormous white bag)

ummm...I HATED dress shopping. I went to about 10 places and didnt find 'The One'...so in the end it was stressful but eventually it happened. I hope you have better luck though!

I have been stalking a certain dress online and definitely expect to love it when I try it on. I know that this won't happen and that I'll be crushed, lol, but I can't really stop myself!

I am the same EXACT way! Good to know there are others out there.
I drive FH CRAZY with my need to 'explore all options'.
I happened to find my dress though the first day out-- dont know what qualifies as 'the one' really but I wasnt into dress shopping the way many other girls are-- and when I tried it on my mom started crying-- thats how i knew it was THE ONE!
So I say-- if someone starts crying-- you know thats The One!

I did (It was the third dress I tried on) BUT I waited a month before ordering it just to make sure. After I found my dress I still tried on many more.

I didn't think I was going to find my dress the first time I went shopping. I knew I was just looking around and getting a feel of what I liked and disliked.

'the one' was the first one I tried on! I went in with a pic, but god knows you could hate it in person... NOT ME! it was perfect!

The first time I went shopping, which ended up being the one and only time I went, it was totally unplanned. One Saturday I had an hour and half in between appointments...I called up my mom and said' I'm going to be by you, I have about and hour+ free, do you want to go to the bridal shop by you and maybe I will have time to try on a dress or two'. I expected it to be the first time I went dress shopping out of a bunch. Well, lo & behold, I found the dress!!! You never know! But just like you knew FH is the one, you will know your dress is the one!

I thought it was going to take a long time to find my dress, but I found it on my first (and only) day of shopping at the second shop I went to. I ordered it on the spot and never once second guessed my decision.
I wish the rest of my planning could have been so easy!
