I am a confirmed flu case....my fiancee also. We both felt horrible Tuesday night, and stayed completely home until Sunday. Yesterday was our first day back at work and we both were EXHAUSTED by the time we got home. Even today I am still hacking my lungs up and he has been sleeping since 8:30!!!!
I know it's not what you want to hear...but get back in bed, rest, and sleep...hopefully you will feel better!!!

OMG i had the flu and strep at the same time last year!!...I serously thought i was dying everytime i stood up i would feel like i was passin gout!!
I was out for a whole week!!!...if you dont rest enough you will have a relapse!

i've been home sick for the past 2 days.. and will be home tomorrow as well..
my throat is bare.. (gross sorry).. can't drink anything but hot.. can't eat anything either.. i wish i could put some padding around my throat..
and of course i had to shovel.. so that didn't help one bit!!
feel better.. it's supposed to get worse before it starts getting better..

I think i have it too... and i'm dying. I feel for you :(
My husband has a z-pac thing left from a little while ago that he never used and hasn't expired. I'm seriously thinking of taking it. z-pac knocks the sh*t out of anything you have. I just don't have the patience to go to the dr.
I hope you get over it soon! A heating pad by the way has helped relieve some of the back/muscle ache.

I had the flu exactly a week ago and I'm still a little beat. It came out of nowhere. I had a fever, headache, stomach ache, tired like you wouldn't believe. It did take 4 days until I was ready to go back to work but I wasn't 100%....still not (I have a cough). It's really going around this year. My friend had more issues with here stomach and hers last 48 hours. Feel better!!

So sorry to hear you are feeling sick feel better soon.
I think the flu is going around. My niece had to go to the hospital yesterday because she has fever and she can'tkeep anything down.
Just try to rest! Drink a lot of fluids..keep yourself hydrated and relxed. If you can't go to work you can't....u come first!

My daughter brought it home from school and gave it every one. It lasted for 5 days. It was no joke. I had to stay hom work today because my youngest son has it nown.

I was sick for 5 days! This flu is horrible. The problem now is the cough from hell. It just doesnt go away!

I'm on day 4 of Z pac and it's not working!! I'm so frustrated, I feel miserable and I'm really feeling stressed about the thought of missing another day of work tomorrow...
