I don't plan on doing the whole garter throwing thing or the bouquet toss....So do I still have to wear the garter?

Absolutely not!! I got one just to surprise hubby with because I had a dragon sewn into it but it kept falling down while we were taking pics so I took it off and put it in DH's pocket.

I don't think so. We did the whole garter toss but my garter kept falling so I didn't even wear it. I slipped it on right before it was time for DH to take it off!!!!

yea im thinking i will slip it on beforre the whole THROW sequence.. because a lot of people have told me that they get extremely ANNOYING to wear

im going to wear it for my getting ready pictures....then take it off....we are going to see how the flow of the wedding is going and will decide that night if we are going to do the garter/bok toss - so ill just slip back on if i need to!

I didn't do a garter toss, but I still wanted to wear the garter. The darn thing kept slipping, so after the ceremony I just took it off.

I slipped it on right before he had to take it off. Also, we did a fake removal of a thong prior to taking off the garter (it was really wrapped around my leg)

I am just wearing it for the church. My FMIL is making it out of her wedding dress. But I will take it off after that.

We're doing the taking off part just for the pics, but were not gonna do the tossing part. i wouldnt want to give it up anyway...I had it customized with NYPD logo to surprise FH so its just for him.

i think i wore my garter all day--i can't remember---BUT i do remember that the tossing garter was put on only like 2 min. before the garter toss. lol we did it real quick and put it on me at the sweetheart table!
i also had a customized NYPD garter!!
HCC Garters is the GREATEST company and that's where i got mine from!
