The Gay Divorcee

Did anyone see this last night on TCM? Has anyone seen it at all? It made me seriously consider trying to hunt down 1930s vintage evening gowns!

Where would one find 1930s style gowns?

Some nice ones

thank you for the link!

You know what I really want? The white dress Ginger Rogers wears for the 'Night and Day' routine! That would be a really excellent wedding dress...feathers and all!

of course I'd also have to be 4 inches taller, graceful and blonde!

I just started reading the link I posed--did you see those descriptions? It's like Elaine wrote on Seinfeld!

Description of the dress:
'She was Dietrich, but with attitude. Eyebrows as thin and arched as a Florentine Madonna's. Eyes as green as the tropics. She had a way of laughing that seemed more like an invitation. And she laughed often.'
