Officiant??? I think its pretty standard to tip them too (we got married in a church and tipped $100 and $20 each to 2 altar boys I think)...

What about bridal attendant if there is one.

Ok, I wasn't sure about that one because I read somewhere that we're not supposed to. BUT - I love my officiant and think it makes sense. I'm sure she won't mind, right?

Wow, no, I've never read that!!! I'd think it highly unlikely she'd be offended, and if she doesn't accept tips she'll decline gracefully when its offered, no worries, but I'd say definitely make the offer

I don't think you tip an officiant.

A rule of thumb I've heard (and I may be wrong) is that you don't tip someone who owns the business. For example, if the person who delivers the flowers owns the business, you don't tip. Is this right?

Do you have to hand each waiter cash or do you just give it to the matire d?

i thought if you were getting married at a church, it's customary to tip the priest, but if you're getting married at your RH, you don't tip the officiant.
