THE GREAT BOTW POWER GRAB OF '09.

I am despondent.

I fear no amount of xanax, pork products, children's laughter, or Snickers will be able to lift me from my doldrums. My future is bleak, my friends, and a lengthy sadness this way comes.

It is my last day as BOTW.

I have been secretly consolidating power over the last few hours- I have a goon squad posse I am considering sending out to strong-arm the powers that be to extend my reign. I am currently trying to amend the constitution to remove term limits, so I can be BOTW Despot/Benevolent Dictator for life. I want to be the Mugabe of LIW.

Alas, I have to take the words of the Great Teacher, Spider-Man, to heart- with great power comes great responsibility. I CANNOT, as much as I may want to, turn the '09 boards into a totalitarian regime, forcing my minions to answer my ridiculous questions whenever I ask. I CANNOT make them tell me their top 5 favorite whatevers, just because I want them to. I CANNOT make getting laughey smileys the highlight of my day. I must pass the Crown and Scepter (yes, I gave myself a scepter) to the next worthy recipient, as loathe as I am to do so.

I cannot tell you guys how much fun I have had this week, thinking up questions, and reading your responses. I have laughed so hard, you have no idea. You are definitely a warm, interesting, and funny group of women, and I just can't adequately describe how great I think it is that we all can congregate here and talk about whatever we want, however important or inconsequential.

But in all honesty, I am going to miss having FH call me BOTWA every day. Now it's going to go back to 'clownpants', and THAT, I am not happy about.

Please keep an eye out- I'm driving to Brooklyn tonight from PA, and have an appointment at Camelot tomorrow morning, so I think I'm going to post the new BOTW later tonight. So forthcoming is the weekly 'Who Hasn't Been BOTW Yet.'

I can't imagine how I will possibly decide, but I am open to bribes and candy.
