Okay.. For those getting married in the summer (or spring, or well, early fall). Are you wearing open or closed toe shoes. I guess the biggest question is...

Which one will be more comfortable?

open, my feet need to breathe!! I don't know about the stockings thing yet. Aren't there special stockings that are made to wear with open toed shoes?

Yes, there are Open-Toe Stockings.

My bridal attendant who helped me with my Eve of Milady dress suggested that I wear closed toe shoes with my dress. She says it gives it a more classy look since my dress is fancy. So I will be wearing closed-toe shoes in July.

I'm wearing close toe shoes for my wedding..only b/c I'm OCD about the 'great debate' and feel that when wearing a LONG dress, you should wear close-toe shoes, but when wearing a SHORT dress, you should wear open-toed shoes.

However, if it's in the SPRING/SUMMER - open, otherwise - close.

I'm all for the open toe esp in the warmer months...although I'll probably wear open toe at my wedding in Nov...I hate the thought of stockings...so if you're planning on wearing them no open toe shoes...major fashion no no

im wearing open for april
and id probably wear open no matter what the season- i love open toed shoes and showing off a pretty pedicure

also i cant help thinknig closed toed shoes may show dirty faster

I agree 100%- I wore peep toes in december

I am pretty sure open toe sandal but have not even looked for shoes yet so I am not 100% sure.

Originally I purchased closed toe shoes bc they were only $15! Now I am on the hunt for open toes! I never wear closed & I am not wearing any pantyhose!!! I want to shoe off my pretty toes!!!

open toed in the summer! I find them more comfortable

I'm getting married early November and, as long as it's not snowing, I'm wearing open toe shoes. I think it comes down to a matter of personal comfort. Your feet may get too hot in closed toe shoes!

I'm wearing open. In January. No pantyhose.

Anyone who wants 'sucking in support' without pantyhose should check out Spanx and the other similar undergarments. It is like the control top part without the hose. Works great.
