Even the one that was in Suffolk was still pretty close to Nassau. We need to have one in like the Ronkonkoma, Selden, Holbrook area!!
Lindenhurst is not near nassau' especially for those coming from queens - and there were several
Lindenhurst is actually like 2 towns away from Nassau County

We all vote on where the GTG's are held and when the GTG's are going to be. The Queens girls have driven 45 mins to get to some of them, as have the Suffolk girls (Kristin - Bride 2 Be and I can attest to that... we got pretty lost going to the last GTG ![]()
). Bonnie (BeachBum) has driven from BOSTON to come to a GTG and it looks like Dominique (failurebydesign) is going to be coming out this summer for a GTG (granted I think her trip is pre-planned. ![]()

wow girls how many times are we gonna go over the whole location thing.
We vote on the location. There are just as many girls in NYC as there are on Eastern LI.
This ONE time there wasn't an official vote. This isn't a science. GTG's are supposed to be fun - not supposed to cause BS.
Patience, patience, patience. Next month we'll have it in the Hamptons, OK? For now can we drop the location issue?

What Laura is saying though is that driving from Queens it's like a 45 min drive, it's farther for her and a lot of the girls from Queens.
Be there or be square. Trust me, it's worth the drive because we always have such a great time and it's always so awesome to meet the people that you chit-chat online all day with!

Yeah....I mean, I really don't get the 'it's so far thing' considering there is a train that goes into Manhattan, or people are willing to carpool with each other from Suffolk.![]()

Sure it stinks travelling in from suffolk (I'm from Bellport originally, so I get it)....but a night out in Manhattan with a bunch of fun girls?! That is TOTALLY worth the trip!!
I do think though that a Suffolk GTG will never win a poll (since there ARE less suffolk girls on here)...so we'll have to make sure that we definitely do one out there.

I live in west babylon, I am not complaining, I was just stating that Lindenhurst is very close to Nassau county. I dont go to the get togethers anyway.

To tell you the truth, I think all you guys are great and I have so much fun talking to all of you, but I kinda like the annonomous thing. Although I am considering setting up my puppy w/ some of the other girls' dogs. We'll see.
