My FH and I booked our wedding at the Harbor Club yesterday and we are very excited! The only thing that makes me a little nervous is that i dont know anyone personally who has attended/had a wedding there . Matt (the BM) assured me that the place does all of their advertising by word of mouth and i believe him. Matt was very accomodating and sent us a thank you after our first meeting and showed us around about 3 times. Im hoping everyone can help and let me know what you thought of it/ if any one got or is getting married there! Thanks in advance. Katie

This will help out...
Last year Newsday had a huge article about how they were the best place to get married on Long Island... so congrats!!! It stated that it was Long Island's secret place to get married. I love it there! We looked, a little expensive for us...
The outside is beautiful with all of the sailboats! LOVE IT!

we looked there and thought it was very nice. the only problem for me was that with the start time of my church and the start time of the reception, there is no way that we would have made it for the cocktail hour.

Same here it would have too much of a hike to get from West Hempstead to Huntington. Mark was great. The only other issue was that since it is by the harbor, summer would be the ideal time of the year to really appreciate the grounds. The price though for the summer was a bit too steep for us.

thank you! Luckily we are having our ceremony there so we dont have to trek anywhere. We chose a fall wedding bc the grounds are beautiful during the fall. Summer wedding was def. out because of prices

My family has had a number of events there and all have been wonderful. You have nothing to worry about. The food and service is always outstanding. I will prob. have my RD there.

are you open to a daytime wedding? if so its definitely doable during the summer
