... The headache begins.....
So, my wedding is a year away. In my opinion, thats not far away. I've known my MOH since I was like thirteen (I'm 22 now) She's very helpful, dont get me wrong. She got me a great deal on a DJ/MC package along with a photo package. But on the other hand she can be very opinionated... She's one of those cut throat people, wanting things how she says because her way is best.
Now... I have a MU trial this sunday with Kelly from Glam Me Up. I live in the Bronx, and it will take me about an hour to get to her. No big deal to me!!! And I called my MOH last week to tell her about it and she was like yeah okay I'll go. Even at the middle of this week she was still down for it. Now she calls me like oh 10am is way too early, what is this appt for anyways? What kind of makeup does she use? when I said professional shes like oh yeah? so whats professional? And she should come to you cause she wants your business.... And the thing that got me was oh ur wedding is a year away, thats not important now, u got bigger things to worry about..... then she was like why dont we go BM shopping sunday afternoon? Cancel your appt you can do that later shes not the only professional makeup artist.....
Ugh!!!!!!!! I was on the phone totally livid!!!!! Like hey I love you to death but I'm the bride and you dont have to go, I just wanted to include you in things. Either way, I'm going to that darn trial! (I didnt tell her that though) I suppose I made it seem like I was going to wait till she was good and ready to go but no im sorry I dont want to wait and risk everyone being booked already. I'm sorry but makeup is important to me along with everything else. No detail is too minimal.....
