Well, I am a groom not a bride, but hopefully you can help me.
Anyone had or been to a wedding at the Historical Chapel?
Just wondering what was your impression?
Thanks, Jeremy

Re: The Historical Chapel
Yeah me too since I am not currently attending a church and my father is a Minister in Michigan and I want him to preform the ceremony.
7 months and counting need to get a location. :)

Re: The Historical Chapel
Its very cute, but for me, I didn't like how it was right on a very busy road and not to crazy about the 'Historical Chapel' sign outside.

Re: The Historical Chapel
I agree - the sing is a bit cheesey and the parking seems a little dangerous. Maybe you can cover the sign. There is another chapel in Brookville, although I'm not sure of the name.

Re: The Historical Chapel
if this is the one on jericho in woodbury,I used to work right by the chapel and all though i have never seen the inside, i would not reccommend it, it's so to get to, there's no parking and everyone stop and stares so the traffic backs up but if that doesnt baother and it's beautiful inside and you love it.. it shouldnt matter.. if you think you would have a fabulous ceremony there.. then do it

Re: The Historical Chapel
I thought it looked really pretty. I actually wanted to do the wedding there until we decided on where we were having the reception (Milleridge Cottage has a beautiful glass atrium where the ceremonies are performed). I don't know too much about it though.

Re: The Historical Chapel
I knew of a couple who got married there, and they loooooved it; she said, and I qoute ' I wouldn't change anything about my day.' their prices are pretty reasonable.
My only suggestion is when negotiating the price, really negotiate. They will give you a high price;however, the altitude of that same price has the ability to go down. Do not settle for the initial price they give you.
