The honeymoon is booked!

And my fiance planned the whole thing!! I'm so excited now, and I wanted to share with you.We are going to Italy for 3 weeks.If anyone has been to any of these locations, please let me know how your experience was, or any places we must go to while we are there.Here is our agenda:

First stop Sardinia(Porto Cervo- Costa Smeralda)we are staying at Leginestre Hotel

Next- Capri we will stay the night at the Caesar-Augustus hotel

Then we are off to the Almalfi Coast- we are staying in Ravello at Palazzo Sasso.

We will end the trip by going to visit family in Montescaglioso.
Is anyone else planning on going to Italy for their honeymoon?

We are going for 12 days! I can't way its almost a month away. I know how you feel.

Here is our agenda:

4 nights in Rome
4 nights in FLorence
3 nights in Venice -

We can hardly wait- I think my FH is more excited about the trip than the ceremony. Have fun!

I went to Capri and stayed at Caesar Augustus!!

I went to Capri, Rome, Florence, Paris, etc and Capri was by far the best of the whole trip. My FI and I stayed at the Caeser Augustus Hotel which was absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! We changed our whole trip around just to stay there longer and we never wanted to leave. The island is beautiful and the hotel was so wonderful I can't even tell you. The restaurants were good too. Let me know if you have any questions!

any ideas of things we MUST do when we are there? We will be there for 2 days/1 night. I know there is a lot to do there, but is there anything we really should see or do? Since we are only going to be there for 2 days, I want to maximize our stay.Thanks!

The honeymoon is booked!

I am scheduled to go to Italy on my honeymoon (leaving April 29)...I am a little hesitant now in light of all the terrorist activity that might take place..Has anyone heard anything? Is anyone else reconsidering going there? I just dont know what to do.....I have been so excited about going for so long..

My FI and I planned to stay for two days also, but the minute we stepped foot in the hotel, we changed our whole trip around to stay 5 days! You might want to extend your stay there if possible. Things to do on the island is shop at all the cute boutiques by the hotel, go to the Blue Grotto (what the island is known for-but it takes 15 minutes total). Most of all, you have to do this hike that my FI and I did, I found the info on the internet about it and it was amazing and is a must do! It starts at the natural arch, then a cave, then farnaglia (the landmark of capri -beautiful!), then ends up on what was voted 'the most beautiful street in the world'...look
on the internet for the step by step instructions of the hike (I can't remember where I found it). The food is really good on the island too and cheap! Make sure you walk around a lot by the shops and restaurants b/c we didn't even know they were there.
