The Hunt for the Vendors

OMG!!!!!!! Does that say it? There is soooo much involved it is crazy!!!! I pretty much know the dj and limos we will use, photographer/video is the one that is driving me the most crazy. HELP

didn't book yet.. we know/ have an idea who we want we just need $$$$$$$

we have plenty of time...dont panic...we only have our RH and photog/video...we are starting to look for DJs...it is really hard though...how do yiou know if they are good?!

Hahaha..good point mazz...I just don't know what will make them be a good DJ...i know if th emusic is good and i know what music i wont have but what if they stink and nobody dances!

see if they make a smooth transition from 1 song to the next... see past performances of how they interact with the guests... ask how many weddings they've done... find out if they are the 'classy' dj's or the 'party' dj's... i would be wary of a dj that does tons of sweet 16 kind of things... you're gonna want something a bit more mature than that

As for photo/video, I would really narrow it down by searchin online to like 3 vendors... go look at each one... i've got a search down between 2 and if they dont work out when i go to see them, i'll tweak the search a lil

I thought I narrowed it down that why til I called for quotes and all. I think I am going with ThomasPaul, Velvet and 12thnite, they don't do 09 til October though. If I decide on differnt place for video Rambling Rose is so where I want to go!!! I want to get this over with and worry about money,lol. As long as I have the deposits and I can book I'll be fine for now

He gave me a great quote but, I am still looking at other ones. Velvet, Duet, Leli so far. 12thnight is another one but, won't quote yet. Then there is videography if I don't go with them on that, Halo, Forever Video and Rambling Rose. I hate this.

i thought the photography was easy cause at least you have something solid to look at Dj's you get video's of what they do and after a while they all start to sound and do the same things!

i am going to look at 12th night and infinite images... didnt know 12th didnt give out quotes yet for 09... thats kinda interesting...
