the hunt is over!

FH and I signed our very first apartment lease yesterday! We move in may 1!! Well we get the keys that day. We will prob move that week and into the weekend!

Its a two bederom two bath in hoboken with a garage and small fitness room- which the girls that were moving out of the apartment said there's never anyone in there. Its on the eighth floor so we have an awesome view of all of hoboken and a section on Manhattan! We are super excited! I couldn't sleep last night thinking of all the stuff we have to buy! Insert lots of fainting smiley.

I'm tired. Haha. And I'm on my phone so I can't insert any emoticons.

Anyone know any other discount furniture stores besides bobs that we can look into?
And if anyone moved recently, did you guys hire movers or did you gradually move all your stuff over or rent a u haul?
The only big thing we are bringing is our mattress and TV. And possibly my desk if we can fit it in the apartment.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!!!

When we moved we did everything ourselves. No moving trucks or anything like that.

Congrats on finding your place!!!

Congrats! Hoboken is great! I always use movers but have a lot of stuff moving in and out of each apartment.

If you decide to do it yourself but maybe want just another set of hands, there are tons of postings on Craigslist for strong college guys in the city/Hoboken that you can pay cash for an hour or two. I did this a few years ago and it really helped my dad out!

yay, congrats!!!
