The Hurricane is destroying the Bahamas!!!!!!!!

We are going there on our HM. I hope our hotel is not too destroyed. I am so nervous. I already heard that part of the straw market was destroyed GO AWAY!!!!!

And people wonder why I didn't want to go on a cruice to the Carb. for my HM in October

I do hope everything is okay though, just not a chance I wanted to take.

We are going to Sandals. I think they have a Hurricane Policy but I need to check into waht exactly it covers

I think that if the place you are going to gets destroyed, or if it can't be reached (by plane), they will send you to another sandals. When you find out the specifics, please let me know, because that is where we want to go as well. Thanks!

No we usually are not but the good thing is that we recoop alot faster than say if a storm hits florida..thats so weird to me since we have less $$ usually in the caribbean.

DOnt worry..the major businesses (larger hotels) have storm policies and want your future business so you will have a wondeful honeymoon.

I am sooooo sick of hurricanes! I am a teacher down here (fl) and so far we have had two within the past three weeks. Today was my second 'offical' hurricane day off from work. It is all that is on TV 24-7. It is supposed to hit my area tomorrow, hopefully all will be well! Driving around today you just see all the gas stations without gas, and all the homes boarded up... it is very crazy. Everyone is bracing for the worst.

I keep trying to convince my FH to move back up north with me- Snow Days are much more fun! You don't have to board up your window, and you actually get to play on your day off instead of being trapped in a house!

But, he doesn't like the cold

my honeymoon trip was cancel i suppose to be in the bahamas on a cruise right now. i forgot this is hurricane season.

Dont worry November brides, it is NOT hurricane season then!!

Ladies, did you go through a travel agent.?
if so, you shouldve been told that aug./sept/oct. depending on where you are is hurricane season!!!
