annoys me to NO end. I hear the stupid music for a while, and after a conference call is over I start thinking that a nice ice cream would hit the spot- much to the dismay of my midwife . well this guy must do 50 down my road, because I hear the music getting louder and louder so I go outside and he is already down the freakin block! So I hate my neighborhodd ice-cream man. He never goes slow enough for me to catch him.

I have the other end of that complaint!! I call mine the 'generic ice cream man' because he thinks he's Mr. Softee, but he doesn't even compare!!! His song is so friggin annoying, it's not funny and he sits on my block for an ETERNITY!! His song is annoying and then you hear 'Hello' and this goes on and on and on and on and on. I walk around the house going 'la la la Hello' all night after that!! Joe laughs!

Too funny! MY FI owns 12 Mr. Softee trucks, and he's CONSTANTLY getting complaints about the music that his drivers play when the drive the trucks! Apparently, they are not supposed to play the music when they've stopped for a customer. And, I think (not sure) they aren't supposed to play the music after 8:00 pm as well. He's had letters from community board members, etc. Anyway, he's had to reprimand several of his drivers, AND he actually HATES to hear the music too! Another funny thing is that when he wants ice cream, he takes us to CARVEL!

Its the Good Humor guy and I wanted a strawberry shortcake ice cream.
The one that is opened right now is in Woodbury and its amazing. There has been several post on this place. They are opening up several more throughout NY.
