The infamous votive place candles & etiquette ??...

I am going to start creating dummy templates for single people, a couple dating but don't live together, a family, and a married couple.

For those that did the votive candle deal, what did you do for each of the above scenarios?
I am wondering how for ex. a family will fit onto the vellum. Should I just write 'and Family'?

Did you also have the names going around the vellum or tried to keep the type in the center or the front of the holder? Does that make sense?
Thanks!

I haven't attempted them yet, but the wedding I was just at had the names centered right in the front. And any others I've seen it's centered as well...

If you're inviting entire families, can you write on it:

The XXXX Family? or something like that, rather than listing everyone's names?

Oct. Bride I would love to do xxx family. But we have 3 Smith families, 3 Schmoe families...

Could I write it as Mr. John Smith and Family? I don't like the way that looks... oh boy..
