The Inn at NHP
My cousin's wedding was at The Inn at New Hyde Park yesterday and it was freaking amazing!!!!!! Everything was perfection. If anyone is getting married there, your day will be fabulous!

my cousin's wedding was Sat. CH was outside. Lemme tell you, phenomenal. So beautiful and the gardens are gorgeous. We took soooo many pics. The food was amazing. I really only had stuff from the seafood boat--lobsters, clams, oysters, shrimp etc. I also had the eggplant rollantini which was good and some mousaka (Greek dish). Everyone was raving though.
The main room was huge. They had 350 guests and we never felt squished. The room is so spacious. For app we had the tomato mozzarella with prosciutto (yumm), followed by pasta (I didnt eat it bc FH ate mine![]()
), and for entree there were 7 choices. I had the filet mignon. My FH had some kind of shrimp (stuffed I think). My bro had the veal. I literally wanted to lick the plate! The filet was perfect. Everyone loved their food!! They had 350 ppl to serve and everything came out quick and piping hot! If ppl were up dancing, the wait staff went around and put a food cover on their plate so it wouldnt get cold. Such a nice touch!
Not sure if they got their cake thru the hall, but it was delish. Some kind of choc. And the VH was very nice. It was in a separate room. I really didnt eat dessert bc I was drunk at that point![]()
but they had a snow cone machine, cotton candy machine, cannolis, rainbow cookies, choc fountain, popcorn machine, and other goodies. The whole staff was great. The bartenders remembered what I was drinking all night (maybe cuz I never left the bar![]()
) and the drinks were nice and strong.
My bro was in the BP and told me that the bridal suite was huge and had a nice spread of all the CH food. My cousin did not have a DOC and said she is happy she didnt get one bc her BA at the Inn was so phenomenal. In the bridal suite her BA touched up her makeup, recurled her hair, the works!
Everything was so amazing~It was the best wedding I ever went to, and girls at the Inn are super lucky. I will post pics later today!!!
