I am having my June 2007 wedding there. I didn't know much about the place even though its right in my town. I only found out they did weddings after seeing their ad in a mag. So i started asking around and met someone whose father and friend both had weddings there. After checking it out I fell in love with it. Its right in Shinnecock Bay. The ocean and Dune Road are right over Ponquogue bridge if you want to get some great beach pics. (They are right before the bridge.) The owner and chef, Chef Colette is an award winning chef and is creating a custom menu based on our budget. (She can work within a wide range of budgets) And she is a pleasure to work with. The ceremony & reception will be out on their lawn right on the water, with a tent for the reception. Its not really much of a 'beach' spot, more like a house right on the water with bulkheading, and a small section of sand, then the bay. There is also a dock. But I've captured and seen many wonderful sunsets over that bay. I am having a 'beach' theme, with candles, sand & shells in vases, so even though there's not much sand, it'll be the same effect.
