It's 3 layers, and the middle is real silk brocade (I love it!). I'm doing champagne color ink. The envelope lining is also going to be the silk brocade. I'm going to order it as soon as my Mom is more mobile again to come (she broke her ankle). I'm so excited

Nice, FH and I went looking for invites today. We orginally budgeted $1000 for invites, but after FH saw that we can get invites for much less than that I can't get him to approve anything that's too expensive. Oh well, I'll we'll just put that money elsewhere. I think I'm persuading him to do the calligraphy on the envelopes since we're saying so much $$ on invites. Gotta give;Gotta take

I went looking at invites yesterday and practically picked the same invite...only difference is I picked the 'pearl' border...the silk is so elegant

Mine are from the same book as those and they have brocade, just a different layout--- C'est Papier.
I'd heard some bad things about C'est Papier but I am taking my chances b/c I want these. So far, I got my proof and I have had no problems. I'll also be doing the envelopes with the brocade liner.

I absolutely love those. I really thought I was going to go w/ them (visit with Mom) but then visit with FH yielded a different result (LOL)...basically the price on those are very high and FH didn't like the style of it...but I loved them.

I ordered these invites as well from C'est - I have already gotten my invitations and had no problems with them!

Apparently I absent mindedly bumped one of my old posts. Sorry, it's been a long week
But, since it is here...we ordered our invites back in Jan. (the ones pictured in my original post) through Lion in the Sun in Huntington. Their service was phenominal. I don't know where you heard a bad thing about C'est Papier from, but we got our invites and they were even more beautiful than the internet can do justice. We had absolutely no problems. We had the ink done in a champagne color, and our calligraphy was done to match (font and color). They went out a few weeks ago

There were some old posts here about C'est Papier that got me scared. So, I looked and looked to see if I liked anything else. In the end, I had to have the C'est Papier invitations.
I ordered from Noteworthy in Woodbury Commons. I have confidence that if there are any problems, Noteworthy will make sure it all works out. I considered ordering black ink but decided on the champagne. I hope that my calligrapher can match it up and if they can't, I guess I will use black for the addresses.
