NO NO NO- not for the wedding, but for my housewarming party!
BUT Now is when I need the help of my 06ers to plan.
I cook decently, but nothing too fancy or crazy!
And our smallish shindig had an invite list of 70 people (including children) They all wont come, but I need to be able to have food for everyone!
SO , help me with ideas please! What do I make? Include recipes if you can!

Baked Zita is alway a good choice and can be made in large qualties for cheap!
Also, salad and hero's are always a favorite!

Antipasto salad ....easy and filling -
tri colored pasta -( 2 boxes) sun dried tomatoes (1 lg. jar) artichoke hearts (2 cans) black olives (1 lg. can and cut in slices) pepperoni and provoilin (sp)cheese
make it the day before use the oil from the sun dried tomatoes and just keep flipping the container so that it mixes up and the pasta soaks up the oil
If you want to make stuffed mushrooms I have one for that also -

oooo yum thats a definite, cause there is no actual cooking necessary

Dips (spinach and artichoke) You could grill shrimp on the barbie with Old Bay SOO GOOD and then put it over cilantro and salsa
My brother is a chef I will ask him for some ideas!!!!

Well, I am no help in a kitchen, I mean I can cook but need recipes, I am not part of the 'experienced crew'... LOL Well I do have one suggestion, I think any kinda of pasta is simple and won't take too long too cook. Maybe a ziti or penne a la vodka? Chicken always goes over well....
