The Last NYPD Blue Tonight!!

I can't believe the show is ending. I hope they give it a decent ending. I will definitely miss it!!!

I am extremely disappointed and sad about the series ending tonight.

With Andy as the 'boss' of the squad, there could have been more .. to me, the show never got boring .. and I always looked forward to it .. even with all the character changes that have happened over all the years.

And as far as I'm concerned ABC has been trying to get rid of this show for several years now. I remember 'Andy' on Letterman a few years ago talking about how it didn't look like the show would be brought back.

It just suks that this is the end.

I hope anything they put in its place tanks in the ratings. Sorry, 'Blind Justice' .. but I'm not a fan of the games ABC plays.

ditto! It seems like they try to kill a lot of the shows once they're more than 4 years old!

I am very that it is ending! I got hooked about 7 years ago when I was dating a NYC Cop. I told DH I want EVERY season on DVD!

That's too bad .. the series definitely had its ups and downs, and I didn't think the 'Rick' years were all that bad .. but the past few years since Rick left have been good .. certainly not worthy of canning the entire show.

By the way .. I want all the seasons on DVD, too!!!

I must confess .. I feel like such a sap about this show ending.

I feel like I grew up with this show (well .. grew old, I should say) .. yet there are other shows that have been around for about as long .. like ER .. which is a show I have watched forever, too.

There is just something about NYPD Blue.

I loved the Rick years. I was upset when he left. I never thought I'd get used to 'Zack Morris' being on the show. But, I got over that pretty quickly.

I loved how true the plot always stayed with Andy .. regarding his new partners .. he was always so skeptical of the 'new guy' .. or even the 'new boss' for that matter.

The Rick years were good .. I thought he did good on the show .. but when they wrote him off, it was like someone breathed new life into the script again.

I don't blame Rick for that .. after seeing the BS that went on with The Practice thanks to ABC .. I wouldn't be surprised if there were things going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.

Just wantd to add that I really liked the John Clarke character .. and the acting by Mark Paul Gosselaar has been awesome .. all the ups and downs this kid has been through .. he really had me hating the character there for a while!
